Lip Blush is a form of permanent makeup that enhances the lips by adding a soft, natural looking color. It corrects imperfections and asymmetry by creating definition in the lips.

  • HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

    Lip blush usually lasts 1.5-2 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle.

    IS IT PAINFUL?

    We are offer numbing cream before and during the procedure. However, most clients do not need numbing cream before as for the majority of people the pain is about a 3/10. It is easier and quicker to apply ink to the skin without numbing.

    WHAT COLOR WILL MY LIPS BE?

    A custom color will be tailored to suit your skin tone, natural lip color, and any inspiration colors you may have. Lip Blush is meant to act as a base color for everyday wear, therefore you can still apply conventional makeup to your lips to change the color at any time. Adjustments can also be made to the color at the touch-up appointment.

    CAN I STILL GET LIP BLUSH IF I HAVE FILLER?

    Yes, however we require you wait a minimum of 1 month after receiving filler to get Lip Blush.

    HOW LONG IS THE HEALING PROCESS?

    The healing process takes around 5-7 days.

  • PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    1.Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, and niacin. Do not drink alcohol at least 24 hours before and after your procedure.

    2. Do not take any prescription blood thinners at least 24 hours before and after your procedure.

    3. Discontinue use of Vitamin A skincare products (Retin-A, retinol) close to the enhancement area 48 hours before your procedure.

    4. Discontinue use of AHA (chemical exfoliation) skincare products close to the area being tattooed at least a couple of days prior to your procedure.

    5. If you have lip filler, please let your artist know how long ago it was done. A minimum of 1 month post-filler is required before getting this procedure done.

    6. Avoid direct sun exposure to the tattooed area for at least 10-14 days before and after your appointment. Do not have sunburned lips at your appointment.

    7. Limit the amount of caffeine you consume the morning of your appointment.

    8. If you have been on prescription Accutane, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.

    9. If you are prone to cold sores, please take antiviral pills before your procedure.

    10. Bring your favorite lip colors or save some pictures of colors you like.

    11. Make sure your lips are prepared. Moisturize and exfoliate your lips before your session.
